Amber teething necklaces – a natural remedy for teething babies?

Amber teething necklaces are made from Baltic Amber, the most common form of Amber and the only type of Amber that contains high concentrations of a substance called Succinic Acid. This potent agent contains anti-inflammatory, pain killing and anti-fever properties, amongst other thins, which help with most of the symptoms of teething. Amber teething necklaces can be worn throughout the day, so this agent is delivered continuously to provide relief.

Amber teething necklaces are designed to be much safer for children than ordinary necklaces. They are made with plastic clasps that break much more easily than metal clasps should the necklace get snagged. The beads are also double knotted to prevent the beads coming loose if the necklace breaks. Never let your baby sleep with the necklace on and never let your baby place the necklace in their mouths. The necklace is made short enough to prevent this whilst it is being worn.
